Privacy Policy

clarify ("the game") is a browser-based physics puzzle game operated under bysoft.site. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

The game does not require an account and does not collect personal identifiers such as your name, email, or device ID.

We use your browser's localStorage to save the following purely local data:

1b. Shared daily leaderboard

The Daily mode posts a public score to a leaderboard service so everyone playing the same day's puzzle can compare ranks. When you finish a Daily round, the game sends that service:

The service runs on www.bysoft.net.cn/scores and stores the above in a database on our own server. It is not shared with advertisers. Classic and Zen modes never submit anything. You can opt out of the shared board at any time by not playing Daily. All other data in section 1 stays on your device.

2. Advertising

We may use third-party advertising services such as Google AdSense to display ads. These services may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or YourAdChoices.

3. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the game is used: which pages get opened, how many people finish a Daily round, and roughly where visitors come from. It is operated by Google and identifies your browser with cookies such as _ga. Apart from it and the cookies set by advertising partners, we use no other analytics cookies and no tracking pixels. The game itself does not fingerprint your device.

Nothing is measured before you answer the banner. Accept lets Google Analytics store its cookies; Reject leaves it in cookieless mode (Google's consent mode), where visits are still counted in aggregate but no analytics cookie is stored or read. You can block Google Analytics independently of our banner with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

A banner asks for your consent the first time you visit, and no advertising cookie is set until you answer it. Accept allows personalised ads; Reject still shows ads, but chooses them without your browsing history. Your answer is stored locally in this browser under bysoft.consent.v2 and can be changed at any time from Cookie settings in the footer.

4. Children's privacy

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
